Our vision is to empower the peoples of Africa, by harnessing technology to amplify their voices. We consider it our mission
to serve the peoples of Eastern Africa with content that reflects their diversity of opinion and culture, to enrich their minds and expand
their perspectives, thereby assisting them to enhance their lives and strengthen their communities.
We are a not-for-profit company focusing on public interest content development, centred around Development,
Human Rights, Freedom of Expression, Press Freedom, and Social Equity. We see a vital role in addressing
the media and communication gaps within the civic space and provide much needed coverage, content development and training
of civic space actors and organizations.
We pay special attention to the activities of the East African Community and the citizens of member countries: Kenya, Uganda,
Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan. We also extend our focus on Swahili speaking countries outside the EAC,
and on nations that enjoy historic ties to the Community like Somalia, Sudan, and Ethiopia.
